Slowly I comprehend
What limits me—
These thoughts
The rules I have
Created,
Learned,
Absorbed.
Rigid lines I draw
Around myself,
My life—
Boxed in,
Drowning in a
Well,
My own creation
Limits
Confines
Destroys
Me.
Slowly I comprehend

Rigid lines I draw
Around myself,
My life—
Boxed in,
Drowning in a

Destroys
Me.
I feel the fear again,
In knots–
Twisted, burning,
Panic.
Your past is still
Unclear
Our future still a question
But the fear–
Always pushes through,
Causes despair,
Makes me want to run
And hide somewhere
To shield myself,
My heart,
But loneliness is not a friend–
A foe.
